• Did vocabulary #27
• Did current events.
• Read a bit about roller coasters, their designers and inspectors. Sia7 p333.
• Wrote a journal entry about the roller coasters: sia7 p333 #1-3.
• Watched a National Geographic Documentary: Six degrees that could change the world. What is it about? We will finish it on Thursday.
• Homework: Read & UNDERSTAND: sia7 p334-335, do c&r p336 #1 & 2.

• In groups, worked on designing a better back pack. What ideas did you come up with?
• Read & Understand sia7 p324-329.
• Homework: sia7 p327 #1 & 2.

Today was the last day to hand in any missing assignments to be counted for term 2.

Today in SCIENCE we:

• Did vocabulary #25
• Did current events.
• Talked about our homework.
• Handed in sia7 p321 #1-3.
• Did a journal entry from sia7 p321. What was that career all about?
• Started sia7 p323 ayl #1-5. You might have one question left if you used your time wisely.
• You should be reviewing your science EVERY night for about 10 minutes.
• Got our mark updates & self evaluation. Bring them back on FRIDAY SIGNED. There are bonus marks up for grabs!
• Where should your vocabulary & journal duotangs be at the end of EVERY class?

• Friday January 23rd at 130pm is the ABSOLUTE LAST time any work from term 2 will be accepted.
  
• Remember that if you leave it this long to submit your work you are gambling....will it get marked on time or won't it??
  
• The SOONER you hand it in, the better your chances of having your work marked & counted towards your grade!

• Talked about joints & materials we see in NATURE. What is the difference between a tendon and a ligament.
• I will be taking in c&r #1-3 p321 for marks on Wednesday. Please have it ready to go.

• Look at & THINK about sia7 p318, #2.
• READ & UNDERSTAND sia7 p319-321. What do you think? We have borrowed many ideas from nature. Can you think of some?

• There is a QUIZ in your VERY NEAR future.
• Are you up to date? Is all of your work where it is supposed to be?

• Today in SCIENCE we:
  Did Current Events. WAY TO GO!!
• Remember you should have at least 2 (two) current events done for this term.
• Reviewed how to format our current event write up properly.
• Reviewed some dates. When does term 2 end?
• Got some work back. What are the sources of a very serious condition called "marking rage"? How can you prevent it?
• Watched the end of our movie. What are a few things in the movie that are true? Untrue?
• Wrote a journal entry about the bridges we built.
• Do sia7 p307 c&r #1-6
• If I was you, I would do some review. This will help you prepare for a pop quiz that may occur in your near future.
