• Did Current Events. You have (2) TWO classes left to get this done.
• Finished our vocabulary. Your completed duotang is due on TUESDAY.
• Did a power point presentation on Plants for Food & Fibre. Did you write notes as we went along?
• Did a few demonstrations: What is the difference between OSMOSIS & DIFFUSION? Active Transport & Passive Transport?
• Don't forget to READ sia7 p169 & DO sia7 p172-173 #2-17.
• Your vocabulary duotangs will help you study for your final exams. Did you complete yours to the best of your ability?

• Did Current Events. Nice work, many of you have now completed this requirement.
• Did a quiz on Heat & Temperature sections 3 & 4. How did you do?
• Got & worked on vocabulary #46. It will be due on Tuesday June 9. It is expected that ALL of your vocabulary will be in your duotangs at this time. Don't forget to follow the instructions.
• All of your vocabulary words are in the Unit PLANTS FOR FOOD & FIBRE.
• There are only 13 days left until final exams start. What will you do to help you prepare??

Today in SCIENCE we:

• Did Current Events. How many do you have left to do? You are running out of time.
• Is your vocabulary in your vocabulary duotang?
• Talked about how a Gallileo Thermometer works. Wrote a journal entry about it.
• Watched the end of the Day After Tomorrow. Wrote a journal entry about it. We summarized it & wrote a sentence about why we thought Ms. Wilson Showed us this movie.
• Made sure we finished all of our AYLs (sia7 p221, 237, 251, 189, #1-5).
• Started our UNIT REVIEW, sia7 p256-257 #2-22. Have up to question #10 done by Wednesday.

• Had a chat about what happened on Tuesday.
• Started to watch "The Day After Tomorrow".
• What does this movie have to do with Heat & Temperature? Interactions & Ecosystems? Plants for Food & Fibre?
• Finish up the 4 ayl's in the Heat & Temperature unit for homework. You should have started all of them.
